A diagram that explains the exchange process. A person buys shopping vouchers in the supermarket and pays for them with the payment card. The person receives cash in exchange for the vouchers via an exchange station.

Against the harassment of “payment cards” – For a self-determined life for all!

The German government has decided that asylum seekers across the country will no longer receive cash. Instead, state payments will be loaded onto so-called “payment cards”. You can only withdraw €50 cash per month from this card. You cannot shop in places where credit card payments are not possible. Transfers must be approved individually by the office. This is discriminatory.

With the payment cards it is possible to buy vouchers from supermarkets. We exchange these vouchers for cash. In this way, people with the discriminatory payment card can spend their money in a self-determined way and people in solidarity can pay for their weekly supermarket shopping with vouchers.
